“in the daylight, anywhere feels like home”
My best friend & I got these together on March 11, 2012. We’ve been best friends for fifteen years and both turned eighteen a few months prior to this. The tattoo holds different meanings for both of us, but I know that for me, as long as there is light hitting my skin and fresh air, I am home. It’s about making a home for myself, about letting myself be at home no matter where I am.
I hesitated and grappled with the thought of it for a long time before getting it, but I’m very happy with it.
